Brent D. Berkman been practicing as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 1984 and as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) since 2009. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from John Carroll University in 1979. He holds a Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) Credential (2009) and is a Certified Global Management Accountant (2012).

During the past ten years, Brent has presented deposition testimony, participated in mediations, and assisted law enforcement in gathering evidence and assembling a cases. In addition, Brent provided pro bono support (a direct result of a local newspaper report) to an interesting case involving an elderly individual who was the victim of an embezzlement.
Brent is a member of a wide variety of organizations including the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), ACFE Advisory Council, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), AICPA Forensic and Valuation Section, and the AIPCA Tax Section.
